To celebrate PYC’s 8th anniversary in 2024, PYC will hold a paper competition. We chose the theme of “Holistic Transformation for A Sustainable Energy Future.” This theme highlights the imperative of sustainable energy development in addressing global challenges. By harnessing renewable sources such as solar, wind, and hydropower, sustainable energy not only mitigates environmental degradation and contributes to climate change mitigation but also enhances energy security and fosters economic opportunities. The transition to sustainable energy promotes innovation, job creation, and the development of a resilient green economy, improving public health by reducing pollution and ensuring equitable access to clean energy worldwide. Emphasizing the interconnected roles of policy frameworks, human capital, and technological innovations, the competition encourages participants to explore multifaceted solutions for the comprehensive transformation of the energy sector.
The paper competition aims to stimulate high-quality research to gather insights, analyses, and up-to-date findings on energy security and sustainable development matters.
