The Petroleum Engineering Study Program, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) held a guest lecture series on March 29, 2019, in Handil Total Room, ITB Petroleum Engineering. Luky A. Yusgiantoro, Ph.D. became the guest speaker for the second series of the guest lecture. His topic of the presentation was “Planning and Maintenance of Domestic Gas Facilities”.

During the lecture, Luky A. Yusgiantoro, Ph.D. shared his experiences in handling various oil and gas projects in Indonesia starting from his experience at the National Gas Company (PGN) until his recent responsibility at SKK Migas. He handled a large gas project in Indonesia, the Masela Abadi block project, which has reserves around 16.7 TCF. At that time, he was the Head of the Abadi Project Acceleration Unit, Operations Control Sector, SKK Migas. According to him, good project management and proficient knowledge of the maintenance process are very important in managing the Indonesian oil and gas industry.

The guest lecture was attended by around 30 of ITB petroleum engineering undergraduate and postgraduate students. The next guest lecture series will be held on April 5, 2019, inviting Dr. Ing. Evita Legowo as a speaker with the topic of “Renewable Energy Planning and Policy in Indonesia”.
