On 2 April 2019, the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC) welcomed ClimateWorks, represented by Meg Argyriou and Guntur Sutiyono. The ClimateWorks Foundation is a non-governmental organization consists of researchers, strategists, collaborators and grant-makers committed for climate action. The headquarter for ClimateWorks is located in Australia. ClimateWorks believes in the power of collective philanthropy in responding to the climate change issues. ClimateWorks has been participating in several energy and climate change projects. 

In this initial meeting, both organizations presented their backgrounds, shared their experiences on energy development and discussed the current energy issues in Indonesia. In the end, PYC and ClimateWorks believed that they should strengthen their relationship by collaborating in research and development, in order to to exchange the knowledge and enrich their experiences especially in facing energy issues in the future.
