The oil and gas production facility forum (FFPMI) is the annual meeting which is held by the Association of Oil and Gas Production Facility (IAFMI). Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC) was invited to attend the meeting, which was held on 9-11 July 2019, in Semarang. On the second day, the sessions were divided into three subtopics, and one of them was project management in the oil and gas industry while facing industrial revolution 4.0. The speakers of this topic were coming from Bentley, Dassault Systems, Tropic Energy, Ophir Energy, Pertamina and Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas). It can be concluded that human plays a significant role in controlling and maintaining the technology development as it is useful for their business. Also, to achieve project excellence, the agility of project management is important, especially in running cost and time management.
