On November 7, 2019, Prof. Dr. Dr. med. dr. A.B. Susanto, S.E., M.A., CPM was inaugurated as a non-permanent professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran Jakarta. The inauguration was carried out with the Open Senate Session of officials and professors of UPN Veteran Jakarta.
Prof. A.B. Susanto delivered the inaugural speech entitled “The Role of Family Business in National Defense Management from a Strategic Management Perspective” delivered at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, Jenderal Sudirman Building, UPN Veteran Jakarta.
Prof. Purnomo Yusgiantoro (Founder of Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center/PYC), the initiator of UPN Veteran Jakarta becoming a state university, gave a speech in the inauguration. He gave a message to Prof. A.B. Susanto to serve fully as an educator at UPN Veteran Jakarta, as one of the contributions to the nation.
Furthermore, he said that UPN Veteran Jakarta has a vision and mission to become a world class university with its identity as a state defense campus (kampus bela negara). Prof. A.B. Susanto was encouraged to support the vision and mission with his contribution as a non-permanent professor at UPN Veteran Jakarta.
