Founder of Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC)
Purnomo Yusgiantoro is the Founder of Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He received his bachelor degree (Ir.) in Petroleum Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia; MSc in Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, USA; MA in Economics from University of Colorado, USA; and PhD in Mineral Economics from Colorado School of Mines, USA. Since 2014, Purnomo dedicates much of his time, knowledge, and skills to teaching the subject of energy economics at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). In addition, Purnomo is the Co-founder of Universitas Pertahanan (Unhan), Indonesia, where he teaches the subject of energy security until now. He is now a senior advisor for the Executive Office of the President Republic of Indonesia.
Purnomo has vast experiences working and contributing in the energy and defence sector of Indonesia. He worked as a consultant for the World Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB) in the field of energy economics and sustainable development. He also acted as the Chairman of Board of Commissioners for Pertamina. Purnomo has held a position as Vice Governor of National Defense Agencies (Lemhannas). Purnomo was the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia for three consecutive terms, from 2000 until 2009. After that, he held the position of Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia between 2009 and 2014. In the global sphere, Purnomo served as the Governor of Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its Secretary General as well as President, based in Vienna, Austria. He also carried the responsibility as the Chairman of the ASEAN Ministers of Energy Meeting (AMEM). He continues his devotion to the energy sector development by establishing PYC in 2016.

Luky A. Yusgiantoro is a member of the Governing Board of Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector. He received his BSc in Engineering Science (spc. Environmental Engineering) from Colorado State University, USA. He continued having his two Masters from the joint program of CSM and Institut Francais du Petrole, France. He has his PhD in Energy Economics from Colorado School of Mines (CSM), USA, in 2010.
Luky has been involved in various energy research with versatile methodologies conducted by Indonesian government agencies and private sectors, and also is actively invited as a speaker in many seminars. He has been teaching economics classes for undergraduate and graduate programs at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, Jakarta, since 2014. In addition, he established Planet Inovasi – another non-profit organization focusing on entrepreneurship. He is currently the Division Head of Project Management and Maintenance Facility of SKK Migas – the government body that manages upstream oil and gas business activities. He has been involved in geothermal, gas pipeline and upstream oil and gas projects since 2000.
Lis Purnomo Yusgiantoro is a member of the Governing Board for social and cultural initiatives. She is one of the Board of Patron of Persatuan Insan Kolintang Nasional (PINKAN). Together with PINKAN Indonesia, she stands for kolintang to be recognized by UNESCO as a cultural heritage from Indonesia. She is also the Founder of Persatuan Isteri Pensiunan Warakauri (PIPW) for Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources employees. In addition, she has great attention on Indonesian batik as a cultural heritage. In her free time, Lis likes to spend her time by singing, caring for plants and collecting varieties of flowers in her house.
Head of the Supervisory Board of Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC)
Inka B. Yusgiantoro is Head of the Supervisory Board of Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He received his BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor; MS in Operation Research from Columbia University; MSE in Financial Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor; MA and PhD in Regional Economics from Cornell University.
He is the Head of the Research Department in the Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) since 2013. Prior to that, he was a Research Fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and an investment banking professional in New York City and Singapore. Inka has been a part-time lecturer for macroeconomic, finance, and risk management courses in several public and private universities, as well as published his empirical papers in top-notch international journals.

Alexander is a member of the Supervisory Board of Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He received his S.H. from Universitas Diponegoro, Indonesia; LLM in International Law from University of California (UC) Berkeley, USA; and JSD in Law and Economics, University of California (UC) Berkeley, USA. He has vast experiences as a business and law consultant for many corporations in the energy sector. He also teaches law economics at Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH).
