Chairperson of the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC), Filda C. Yusgiantoro, participated as a panelist at the ITB Energy Transition Summit 2025, delivering insights during Panel Session 2: “Technology & Human Development,” held on Thursday, 13 November 2025, at Aula Timur, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). The summit served as a strategic forum bringing together policymakers, academics, and industry practitioners to discuss Indonesia’s energy transition agenda.
The event opened with a Keynote Speech by Prof. Purnomo Yusgiantoro, who highlighted the critical role of energy transition policies in strengthening national energy security. He emphasized the importance of an integrated approach that aligns technological innovation, human capital development, and effective governance to ensure a sustainable and resilient energy transition.
During the panel session, Filda C. Yusgiantoro presented a paper titled “Skills for Future Energy Engineers.” Her presentation addressed the growing demand for a future-ready green workforce, outlining essential core and supporting competencies, key challenges in human resource development within the energy sector, and the role of PYC in strengthening research ecosystems to support the preparation of skilled green professionals.
Panel Session 2 was moderated by Taufik Faturohman and featured distinguished speakers, including Fadli Rahman, Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development at Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (NRE), and Ir. Hary Devianto, Head of the Energy Policy Center at ITB. The discussion explored the intersection of technological advancement and human development as key drivers of Indonesia’s energy transition.
