The fellowship was presented by Dr. Megan Clark AC, Chancellor of Monash University. Filda received this recognition for her impactful engagement with the Climateworks Centre, as well as for her leadership at PYC, a strategic policy research institution focused on data-driven solutions in the fields of energy, environment, and economic development to support national resilience and sustainable practices.
In her remarks, Filda expressed her gratitude and emphasized her hope for stronger collaboration between Monash University, the Climateworks Centre, the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center, and key stakeholders in Indonesia. She underscored the importance of cross-institutional and international partnerships in generating tangible impact to advance sustainability, climate action, and energy transition agendas.
The award also reaffirms Filda’s role in bridging academia and the practical implementation of sustainable development. Through her leadership at PYC, she has consistently promoted evidence-based dialogue and policy formulation on public policy, climate, and energy transition at both national and international levels.
Looking ahead, this recognition is expected to further strengthen PYC’s position as a strategic partner in global collaboration and to expand its contribution to advancing inclusive, equitable, and low-carbon development pathways in Indonesia and beyond.
