Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC) hosted a Dinner and Networking Reception for participants of the Regional Leadership Strengthening Course (Kursus Pemantapan Pimpinan Daerah/KPPD) Batch II 2025 at the PYC Office in Bulungan. The event was attended by 25 regional heads participating in the KPPD program and served as a moment of togetherness ahead of the next phase of the leadership development program.

The evening began with welcoming remarks from the Founder of the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center, Prof. Purnomo Yusgiantoro, who expressed appreciation for the participants and encouraged them to make the most of the program as a valuable foundation for their leadership journey. This was followed by introductions and remarks from members of the PYC Board, including Chairperson of PYC, Filda C. Yusgiantoro; Secretary of PYC, Amelia Yusgiantoro; Treasurer of PYC, Febria Oroh; and Chair of the PYC Supervisory Board, Inka B. Yusgiantoro.

The event was also attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mr. Tomsi Tohir; the Head of the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mr. Sugeng Hariyono; and the Deputy Governor of Lemhannas RI, Vice Admiral (Ret.) Edwin. Their presence underscored strong cross-institutional support for the implementation of the KPPD program as a strategic initiative to strengthen regional leadership capacity.

This gathering served as a gesture of appreciation from PYC to the participants of KPPD Batch II prior to their departure to Singapore to continue the program at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. Beyond the formal agenda, the dinner also provided an informal platform for dialogue, networking, and the strengthening of relationships among regional leaders and key stakeholders.

Through this event, PYC reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the development of regional leaders who demonstrate integrity, global perspective, and the ability to respond effectively to increasingly complex governance challenges. The continued synergy between PYC, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Lemhannas RI, and regional governments is expected to contribute meaningfully to sustainable regional and national development.
