The Chairperson of the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC), Filda C. Yusgiantoro, was a speaker at the Asia Meeting on Renewable Energy Integration (AMREI) Conference held at the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). In her presentation, she shared strategic insights on national energy resilience amidst the growing challenges caused by global geopolitical dynamics, the energy transition, and climate change.
Filda emphasized the critical need to strengthen Indonesia’s energy mix through the sustainable development of renewable energy sources. She also highlighted the importance of increasing women’s participation in the energy sector and fostering a collaborative pentahelix approach—involving government, academia, business, communities, and the media—to support an inclusive and sustainable energy transition in Indonesia.
The conference featured a dynamic discussion session, where participants actively engaged in addressing key issues related to risk management in the energy sector, particularly within the oil and gas industry. The dialogue emphasized the importance of building a more adaptive and resilient energy system to meet the demands of the future.
