Prof. Purnomo Yusgiantoro, Founder of the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC), together with Filda C. Yusgiantoro, Chairperson of PYC, attended the Final Preparatory Meeting for the Regional Leadership Strengthening Course (Kursus Pemantapan Pimpinan Daerah/KPPD). The meeting was held in conjunction with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (Lemhannas RI), the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC), and took place at the Lemhannas RI Office.

The second batch of the KPPD program is designed to strengthen leadership capacity and foster a strong sense of statesmanship among regional heads. The 2025 KPPD program will be conducted from 4-19 November 2025, and will be attended by 25 selected regents and mayors from across Indonesia. The program will take place at three venues; Lemhannas RI, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore (NUS), and the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

This initiative underscores the commitment for cross-institutional collaboration in developing regional leaders who are adaptive, innovative, and responsive to public needs. It also strengthens the synergy between the Ministry of Home Affairs, Lemhannas RI, and PYC in nurturing regional leaders with integrity, strategic vision, and high professional standards, capable of advancing effective and sustainable regional governance.
