Association of Oil and Gas Production Facility (IAFMI) held their annual meeting “Indonesia Oil and Gas Production Facility Forum (FFPMI)” on July 9, 2019, in Semarang. The theme for this event was “The Innovation and Transformation of Oil and Gas Production Facility towards Industry 4.0.” This event was attended by the government, experts, and practitioners in the oil and gas industry. Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC) was also invited and participated in the meeting. As one of the events, Prof. Purnomo Yusgiantoro, founder of PYC, delivered his speech, and he brought the national energy resilience in facing industrial revolution 4.0 as his topics. He highlighted that Indonesia needs to apply the technology appropriately according to national capability. The purpose of the appropriate technology implementation was to achieve sustainable development for the national future. The other speakers were from Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas), Petronas, British Petroleum, Pertamina, and so forth.
