The Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC) was invited to attend a kickoff meeting held by the National Energy Council (DEN) on February 13, 2020. This meeting was held at Widjajono Partowidagdo Building, DEN. It aimed to bring related stakeholders to discuss the possibilities for collaboration in making the Indonesia’s Energy Outlook 2020. For example, Research and Development Agency (Balitbang), Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) and Planning Division of General Secretariat  of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (KESDM) as well as Danish Energy Agency (DEA) attended the meeting. Division Head of Energy Policy Facilitation and Trial of National Energy Council (DEN), Sugeng Mujiyanto presented a brief overview of the workplan for Indonesia’s Energy Outlook 2020: short term and long term. PYC Chairperson, Filda Yusgiantoro, highlighted the importance of updating and synchronizing the data between DEN and other related institutions. This is aligned with what the DEN wants, which is to use the data from one source: pusdatin, in order to conduct the modelling study for the outlook. In addition, some strategic issues related to energy were also decided to be analysed for the next few weeks.
