JAKARTA (Suara Karya): Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC) held a national children’s writing competition with the theme “Letter to Mother Earth”. The topic of the competition was how Indonesian children fill their independence during the Covid-19 pandemic.

PYC Holds National Writing Competition: Letter to Mother Earth

Jakarta – In order to commemorate the 76th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, August 17, 1945, the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center held a National Children’s Writing Competition: Letters to Mother Earth with the topic of Indonesian Children Filling Independence During the Pandemic. This competition is a series of social activities carried out routinely by the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center to increase the spirit of the nation’s next generation. The competition activities carried out online are divided into 2 age categories, namely the first category for ages 7-9 years and the second category for ages 10-12 years. With ideas that refer to the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, PYC feels the need to foster a sense of appreciation for the country in any situation, as well as increase children’s creativity and literacy from an early age.

The Spirit of Patriotism and Nationalism Must Be Taught to Children

JAKARTA, Investor.id – The Advisory Board of Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC), Lis Yusgiantoro said, the spirit of literacy, patriotism, and nationalism must be taught to children from an early age. This spirit must be a guide for Indonesian children in increasing their desire to learn and love for their country, so that they will become a proud generation for Mother Earth.

Writing Competition Cultivates Children’s Literacy Spirit, Patriotism, and Nationalism

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – The national children’s writing competition themed “Indonesian Children Fill Independence During the Pandemic” aims to foster a spirit of literacy, patriotism, and nationalism among children. The competition held by the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC) to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia was attended by 97 participants from 15 provinces.
