The topic of the competition was how Indonesian children fill their independence during the Covid-19 pandemic.

PYC Holds National Writing Competition: Letter to Mother Earth

Jakarta - In order to commemorate the 76th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, August 17, 1945, the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center held a National Children's Writing Competition: Letters to Mother Earth with the topic of Indonesian Children Filling Independence During the Pandemic. This competition is a series of social activities carried out routinely by the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center to increase the spirit of the nation's next generation. The competition activities carried out online are divided into 2 age categories, namely the first category for ages 7-9 years and the second category for ages 10-12 years. With ideas that refer to the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, PYC feels the need to foster a sense of appreciation for the country in any situation, as well as increase children's creativity and literacy from an early age.
