5th Anniversary of Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center Through Book Review Track Record of Two Periods of ESDM: Revealing the Transition Period 2000-2009

Jakarta, Indotimes.co.id – Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center ( PYC ) held a Book Review event “Rekam Jejak Dua Masa ESDM: Menguak Masa Transition 2000-2009” coinciding with PYC’s 5th Anniversary. This event was attended online by the Indonesian Minister of Trade , Muhammad Lutfi who gave a welcoming speech. And the Keynote Speaker was the Secretary General of the Ministry of ESDM, Ego Syahrial. Meanwhile, the book reviewers were Evita Legowo (Director General of Oil and Gas , Ministry of ESDM 2008-2012), Simon Sembiring (Director General of Minerals and Coal, Ministry of ESDM 2004-2008), Rida Mulyana (Director General of Electricity, Ministry of ESDM), and Dadan Kusdiana (Director General of New, Renewable Energy , and Energy Conservation, Ministry of ESDM) with moderator Luky A. Yusgiantoro (PYC Advisor).

This event was held via Zoom and broadcast live via the PYC YouTube channel. This topic started from issues regarding energy security, sustainability , climate protection , and environmental protection that have influenced energy policies in the world.

INA to Evaluate New Renewable Energy Investments

High Loan Interest and Collateral Hamper EBT Development

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA-- The Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources stated that there are several obstacles and challenges in terms of financing that occur in Indonesia in developing renewable energy. The challenges include high loan interest rates, high collateral requirements, lack of project funding, small projects and increasing transaction costs, and the capacity of project developers and financial institutions is still limited.
