
Prof. Purnomo Yusgiantoro, Founder and Chairman of the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC), together with Filda C. Yusgiantoro, attended the opening of the Policy Advocacy Training held at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP). The training program was attended by 60 participants from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia), consisting of 30 participants joining in-person and 30 others participating online.
The training, conducted from 24-26 September 2025, was a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Kadin Indonesia Institute (KII) and the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC), reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening policy advocacy capacity and strategic leadership among business actors and key stakeholders. The event was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore, Mr. Suryo Pratomo; Vice Chairman of Kadin Indonesia, Mr. Erwin Aksa; as well as Mr. Dato’ Dr. Low Tuck Kwong, Mr. Alexander Ery Wibowo, and Mr. Mulya Amri, representing the Kadin Indonesia Institute.
Through this program, participants were equipped with advanced skills in policy advocacy, strategic leadership, and strengthened collaboration at the ASEAN level. In addition, they explored seven advocacy frameworks focused on priority issues, including digital transformation, the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), sustainability, energy and food security, trade, and investment, aimed at supporting the formulation of inclusive and competitive policies at both regional and global levels.
