Felicia Grace Ratnasari Utomo

Researcher

Felicia is a Researcher at the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center. She is currently on study leave pursuing a master's degree in Environmental Studies, with a focus on Sustainability Management, at the University of Waterloo, Canada, supported by a scholarship from the FINCAPES Project. The FINCAPES project is a 5.5-year initiative in Indonesia funded by the Government of Canada, which involves partnerships between the University of Waterloo and PYC. She holds a bachelor's degree in Development Economics from Universitas Katolik Atma Jaya Jakarta. At PYC, she has conducted research projects in the energy and social sciences fields, including regional energy security, mineral smelter decarbonization, energy policy and subsidy reform, carbon taxation, regulatory impact assessment on electricity regulation, peer-to-peer energy trading, community renewable energy, and the just energy transition. She has also contributed to writing articles, books, research reports, as well as providing opinions in media related to energy issues. In addition to her other activities, she has participated in various energy events, podcasts, and conferences as a jury, moderator, or speaker. In 2024, she was awarded as a participant in the Southeast Asia Just Energy Transition Fellowship Program supported by the Australia Award Fellowship. In her free time, Felicia enjoys singing, traveling, and exploring new culinary experiences.
