Data Specialist Staff

Hizkia is a Data Specialist Staff at the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC). He is responsible for the operation and development of PYC data service—one of PYC’s flagship initiatives that provides comprehensive statistical information and data analysis related to Indonesia’s energy sector. Hizkia holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, with a focus on computational chemistry, from Pertamina University (UPer). Prior to joining PYC, he formerly worked as a Research Assistant at the Quantum Physics Research Center of BRIN RI, where he was involved in computational simulations of catalytic materials for clean energy applications, fuel cells. This experience deepened his interest in energy issues and data analysis, shaping him into a data and energy enthusiast. In addition to his focus on the energy sector, Hizkia is also actively engaged in youth empowerment initiatives. He is part of a youth energy community network in Southeast Asia and also has initiated capacity-building projects for youth in his home region, North Sulawesi. Beyond his professional activities, Hizkia expresses himself through the arts. He enjoys singing, playing music, writing, and exploring graphic design as a creative outlet.
