The need for energy will grow further when entering industry 4.0, since it is strongly related to technology. In order to fulfill the future energy demand, it is important to mix the energy supply between the fossil energy, new and renewable energy. They emphasized that Indonesia needs to be able to optimize the use of new and renewable energy (NRE), which only contributed about 8.55% of total energy mix in 2018. They also mentioned that it is crucial for the government, industry players and education sector to collaborate to run industry 4.0 successfully and progressively towards a better society.
