Technoday 2019 is the annual event hosted by Medco Energi. Technoday 2019 was held on 3-4 December 2019 at Soehanna Hall, The Energy Building, Jakarta. The theme of integrated innovation for energy sustainability was brought for this year’s event. The event was filled by a panel discussion and a technology exhibition. The panel discussion focused on technology development in the energy sector, especially in oil and gas, mining, and renewable energy. Meanwhile, the technology exhibition was attended by national and international companies.
On the second day, the event was opened by a panel discussion with a theme of project execution advancement through technology innovation. The panelists were the representative of Accenture, Dassault Systemes, Bentley Systems, and Aveva. It can be concluded that; advanced technology development can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of project execution. The workers should be encouraged to learn the technology by themselves, and the company must support it.
A panel discussion with a theme of the transition of renewable energy for sustainable development closed the Technoday 2019. The panelists were the representative After Oil Energy Utama, GE Renewable Energy, GeothermEX, and Akuo Energy Indonesia. This panel session discussed the implementation of renewable energy in a developing country and how the technology of hybrid systems can solve the intermittency issue in renewable energy.
