On June 21st, 2019, The Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC) participated in the opening ceremony of the 9th Gebyar IPPKINDO Expo, in Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). “Gebyar IPPKINDO Expo” is an exhibition that introduces crafts made by locals with export quality standard. This event was attended by government officials, embassy representatives, and many more. The opening started with Kolintang performance from PYC and “Denok Warak Dugder” dance performance.
Mrs. Titi Cacuk Sudarijanto, Chairperson of IPPKINDO (Ikatan Pemberdayaan Pedagang Kecil Indonesia / Association of The Empowerment of Indonesian Small Medium Enterprises), said that the event was built from a big dream that local small medium enterprises could enter the global market. She also hoped that the products displayed in the exhibition are unique and could represent the culture and the uniqueness of Indonesia.
IPPKINDO also gave recognition to those who contribute to the empowerment of Indonesian small medium enterprises. Mrs. Lis Purnomo Yusgiantoro, the Advisor of IPPKINDO, had the opportunity to give the award to the awardees.
The last speaker, Mrs. Gati Wibawaningsih, representative of the Minister of Industry of Indonesia, promoted and introduced the E-SMART program which is formed by the Ministry of Industry of Indonesia. The program is intended to improve the development of the sector capacity that dominates the industrial population in Indonesia. This program will utilize the digital platform through collaboration with startup companies in Indonesia. Therefore, the producers can connect directly to the consumers and it will reduce the product cost and price itself.
The opening ceremony was symbolically opened by beating Kolintang instrument led by Mrs. Gati Wibawaningsih, Mrs.Titi Cacuk Sudarijanto, Mrs. Lis Purnomo Yusgiantoro, and other government officials, then followed by whistle blew by the audience.
