The Research Department conducted a field visit to PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy in the Kamojang Area. They were enthusiastically welcomed by the Production Assistant Manager of PT PGE Kamojang Area, Budi Yuwono Adi and the team on Monday (24/03).

During the visit, they engaged in a series of activities including introductions, presentations by the PT PGE Kamojang team, and a question-and-answer session held at the Geothermal Information Center (GIC). Following the informative Q&A session, a sense of camaraderie permeated the atmosphere. At the end of the meaningful discussion, the research team symbolically presented a memento to the PT PGE Kamojang team. The memento was given by the Chairman of PYC, Filda Yusgiantoro, as an expression of gratitude for the hospitality and cooperation extended during the visit.

Kamojang Area was renowned as the oldest Geothermal Working Area in Indonesia, housing 5 active power plants supplying energy to the Java, Madura, and Bali electricity networks. In this valuable opportunity, the PYC research team also had the chance to directly observe the geothermal wells at the Kamojang Geothermal Power Plant and experienced the unique atmosphere of the PT PGE Kamojang Area.
