JOB REQUIREMENT
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Economics, Development Economics, Environmental Economics, International Relations, National Security, Public Policy or other related fields.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in both quantitative and qualitative research.
- Prior publications in national or international media or academic journals are a plus
- Prior experience in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to design initiatives and lead project implementation is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple priorities
- Excellent time management to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively to produce reports, articles, and presentations
- Excellent command of English, including strong writing and presentation skills
- Based in or willing to work in Jakarta
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Conduct in-depth research on a range of energy, natural resources, and national security issues relevant to the Center’s work
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, generate insights, and develop recommendations
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce high-quality research papers, policy briefs, and other publications
- Support the dissemination of research findings through presentations, events, and media engagements
- Contribute to the organization’s strategic direction by recommending new areas of focus
- Stay current with the latest developments, best practices, and emerging trends in energy, natural resources, and national security issues
- Support the publication and finalization process of Indonesian Journal of Energy.
