On 12 May 2026, the Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center (PYC), together with PYC Board of Trustees member Lis Purnomo, inaugurated the new building of Permata Playgroup, located in Cigombong, Bogor. The inauguration represents one of PYC’s tangible commitments to improving the quality of early childhood education by providing learning facilities that are more comfortable, safe, and conducive.
The new Permata Playgroup building is expected to create a more supportive learning environment for children’s growth and development. With better learning spaces, children will be able to participate more effectively in various educational activities while fostering their creativity, curiosity, and social skills in an enjoyable atmosphere.
For educators and parents, the new facility also marks a positive step toward supporting high-quality learning. A well-designed learning environment not only provides comfort for children but also serves as an important foundation for building character, independence, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning from an early age.
In her remarks, Lis Purnomo expressed her hope that the new Permata Playgroup building would become a place that inspires children to learn, play, and reach their full potential. PYC believes that investing in early childhood education is a long-term investment in building a future generation that is knowledgeable, resilient, and well-prepared to face future challenges.
As part of the inauguration ceremony, Lis Purnomo also planted a salam tree in the backyard of Permata Playgroup. The tree planting symbolized hope for growth, sustainability, and a brighter future for education. Just as the tree is expected to grow strong and deeply rooted, it is hoped that the children of Permata Playgroup will also grow into resilient individuals with strong moral values who make meaningful contributions to their communities.
